How Old is Your Penny?

In this online activity, learners examine U.S. pennies to find the date each penny was minted or manufactured. Learners enter their data and then are able to see data from other learners. A bar graph spanning from 1909 to 2009 gives learners a visual picture of the spread of penny dates entered as data. Learners can click on a link to find out more about pennies and check out associated activities and resources.
