Learners make their own paper. They start by shredding old newspaper, clean toilet paper, and clean paper towels. Learners mix the shredded paper with water to make pulp, then strain and dry the pulp to make paper. This simplified process is similar to that used by industry. When learners set up a free account at Kinetic City, they can answer bonus questions at the end of the activity as a quick assessment. As a larger assessment, learners can complete the Smart Attack game after they've completed several activities.
