In this movement and measurement activity, learners jump as far as they can three times, and compare their longest jump to the longest jump of their friends, classmates and/or family members. Learnes also compare their jumps to the jumps of a grasshopper, rabbit, frog and kangaroo. This is a great activity for indoor recess or in combination with physical education activities, in addition to units on the human body and measurement.
