Learners attach an egg to a rubber-band bungee cord and drop the egg. By performing a few test drops with an egg and short bungee cord, learners are able to predict how long a bungee cord they should build for a longer drop. Use this activity to explain gravitational potential energy, kinetic energy, and elastic potential energy as well as demonstrate the Law of Conservation of Energy.
