In this environmental education demonstration (page 6 of the PDF), learners will see a tangible representation of the scarcity of soil resources on earth. They will gain perspective on the ways in which human activity continue to strain these resources. Though this was created as a pre-visit activity for a traveling science show, it makes a great stand-alone activity as well!
