In this activity, learners examine their tongue and taste buds. Learners will identify an area on their tongue with a reinforcement ring, dye the area blue and then use a magnifying glass and mirror to count the number of taste buds in the area. If learners count more than 40 dots, they are considered a "supertaster." [Activity is publicly available through a web crawler capture on Archive.org.]
