This activity (on page 3 of the PDF under GPS: Biodiversity Activity) is a full inquiry investigation into biodiversity. Groups of learners will go to the zoo to look at animal feet, making a list of ten different animals at the zoo and writing down a description of their feet. This collected data is then analyzed to envision how each animal’s use of its feet helps it live in its environment. Relates to linked video, DragonflyTV GPS: Biodiversity.
