In this activity, learners explore the web of connections among living and non-living things. During this activity, learners have an opportunity to think about many different interactions within an ecosystem. In addition, this activity illustrates the interconnections of all living things. Use this activity as an introduction to more complex issues, such as the effects of drought, exotic species, pesticides and habitat loss.
