Learners construct and launch paper helicopters. Learners investigate weight and drag forces by altering the weight of the helicopters and measuring how this alters the time it takes for the helicopters to fall to the ground. This activity can be combined with other activities to create a larger lesson. Resource contains suggestions for assessment, extensions, and scaling for different levels of learners.
