This is a chemistry lab activity about solutions (page 6 of the PDF). Students make a limewater testing solution for carbon dioxide and explore the concepts of solubility and precipitates. The limewater they make can be used in a separate activity (page 7 of the PDF). Though included as a previsit activity for traveling science show, it also makes an excellent stand alone activity.
