In this math activity, learners play a game that helps reinforce learners' understanding of the coordinate system. In this game, rescue teams are at the base of the hill (an ordered pair to be determined by roll of dice) and an injured victim is at the top of the hill (ordered pair (10, 10)). The objective is to get to the victim as quickly as possible. Learners roll the dice and move along the grid horizontally and/or vertically. The first player to land exactly on (10,10) is the winner.
