In this paleontology activity, learners explore the system behind dinosaur nomenclature. They learn that dinosaur names are created using Greek and Latin roots and determine some of the special features of several dinosaurs by studying the roots in their names. They will then create a name tag for themselves using Greek and Latin roots.
