In this activity, learners observe what would happen to their bodies if they went to outer space without a space suit. Learners explore the phenomena of differing atmospheric pressure as they make a marshmallow dramatically expand inside of a vacuum sealed glass bottle. This activity comes with a step-by-step guide, investigation questions for the learner, and a section that explains the science behind the experiment.
