In this activity, learners collect worms and then observe how they move. If learners have never heard the noise a worm makes when it moves on a piece of paper, a surprising new experience awaits them! This activity includes many safety notes related to handling the glass carefully and taking proper precautions when handling soil. These can be found in the "Health and Safety and Technical notes" and "Procedure" sections.
