In this crafty chemistry activity (on page 2 of the PDF), learners make their own paper from used paper they may have otherwise thrown away. Learners have fun, and come away with a great finished product, while also exploring the chemical make-up of paper. Adult supervision is recommended with use of the blender. Included on the PDF are two additional activities from the Environmental Chemistry unit in OMSI's Chemistry Lab: Iron in the Environment and Water Ways.
