Chemical Breath

This is a chemistry lab activity about solutions (page 7 of the PDF). Learners see firsthand how chemicals in a solution can combine to form an entirely different substance. They also see physical evidence of the carbon dioxide in their breath by making water change color simply by blowing through a straw into it. Though included as a previsit activity for a traveling science show, it also makes an excellent stand alone activity.
