Inertia

In this physics activity (page 8 of the PDF), learners will explore the concept of inertia by attempting to run and stop quickly. Although this activity was created as a previsit for a workshop about the physics of roller coasters, it also makes an excellent stand alone activity. This is an excellent activity to get students up and moving, so as to exercise and learn about physics at the same time!
