In this activity, learners use the design thinking process to design and build their own aqueduct, or water bridge. Ancient Romans used aqueducts to transport water to their heavily populated cities, and modern day examples are in use today. Learners will create multiple iterations to make the best system for moving water from one place to another. Activity includes step-by-step instructions, a video, suggested questions for caregivers to ask learners, and related children's books. Due to the messy nature of this activity, an outdoor setting is recommended.
