In this activity, learners will investigate how craters are made and the different factors that contribute to size left from the impact. A full activity guide is included complete with step by step instructions, as well as additional discussion information. This activity requires some flour, cocoa powder, balls of assorted sizes and weights, and flat container, like a pie tin, to hold it all in. Prompts are also included to extend the activity.
