In this activity about gravity (page eight of the pdf), learners will very simply explore how gravity affects objects using balls and toys. They will also explore the different forces they can use in order to make objects move. This is an excellent activity to connect science with something with which the students play with every day. For slightly older children, you can also discuss potential and kinetic energy. This activity is best done outside or in a wide open space.
