Educator Anne Richardson of the Exploratorium uses SMILE to compile grade- and subject-specific lists of activities for teachers who bring their students on school field trips to the museum.
These teachers feel confident that they can adapt activities designed for informal educators to their needs: hands-on lessons to use before and after their field trips.
The teachers are particularly interested in being able to read other educators' comments on the activities.
