For World Oceans Day, try a new CD from the Banana Slug String Band and howtosmile.org ocean activities. While wacky and fun, the ONLY ONE OCEAN CD has serious work to do. The Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence, the National Marine Educators Association, the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation and UC Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science—representing thousands of scientists and educators nationwide—co-sponsored the recording to raise awareness about the health of the ocean. World Oceans Day is June 8.
