In this design challenge, learners use their creativity and imagination to design and test a wildlife crossing for their favorite animal. Wildlife crossings help animals cross roads and dams, to remain safe while gathering food, caring for babies, and finding safe places to live. This activity includes step-by-step instructions to define the problem test and reflect with helpful graphics. The print-out activity guide also has animal fact cards to spark learner's design process, background content on animals in the wild, and reading connections. A Spanish version of the activity is also available.
