In this activity, learners will participate in a scavenger hunt involving sizes, shapes, and numbers. This activity works well with a whole group, individuals, or families. Everyone needs a “Look Around” list, containing number, measurement, and shape questions about the space/room they are in. (For instance: How many steps does it take to cross the room? How many panes in the largest window in the room?) The activity comes with an easy and a medium/hard "Look Around" list that you can use or adapt to your surroundings, indoors or out.
