In this math activity, learners build Peppy the dog the best trail and park for running around. Learners calculate the perimeter and area of Peppy's park and modify the shape of the park to observe how the perimeter and area change. This activity guide contains a material list, sample questions to ask, literary connections, extensions, and alignment to local and national standards.
