This activity combines learning about nutrition, math of measurement and proportion, and healthy eating. Start by distributing food packages with Nutrition Facts labeled. Help everyone find the fat (or sugar) content on the label. Engage learners in talking over how much of a “serving” they typically eat and how much fat that is. The activity includes several games played with cards made from Nutrition Fact labels. [Activity is publicly available through a web crawler capture on Archive.org.]
