This game plays a dozen different sounds, altered to simulate what they would sound like if you had hearing loss. You try to identify which sound is which, trying to overcome the challenge of the different sounds being garbled by your diminished hearing. Once you select the correct answer, you hear the unaltered version of the sound, and can listen again to both versions. The activity opens with a brief explanation of how exposure to loud sounds permanently damages your hearing.
