Multifactorial Inheritance

In this biology activity (page 6 of the PDF), learners roll a die to create a simple model that teaches them about the factors contributing to heart disease. They learn that the disease progression depends on many factors, including genetics, nutrition, blood pressure, and whether or not the person smokes. Although this was created as a post-visit activity for a workshop about genetics, it also makes an excellent stand-alone activity.
