Rabbit Olympics

This activity (on page 2 of the PDF) is a full inquiry investigation into observing, recording, and graphing animal behavior. Groups of learners will hold a “Rabbit Olympics,” observing pet rabbits’ performance in a series of timed events. Learners will find the average score for each event and graph the scores to compare the data. This activity can be modified for any pet, but the activities should be selected based upon behaviors that the animal naturally displays. Relates to linked video, DragonflyTV: Rabbits.
