Shake a Shrub

This is an activity where learners will discover what types and how many insects live in their own backyard. Learners will shake a shrub and note how many insects fall out, discovering many characteristics about its inhabitants. Color, wings, legs, and more define these shrub-dwelling creatures. How many can you find?
