In this activity, young learners explore the basic shapes of constellations by making their own scope out of a cardboard tube and paper with pinpricks. Once constructed, learners hold the scope to a light source to see the constellation pattern coming through holes in the paper. Activity includes step-by-step instructions, print out constellation patterns, and a short explanation of the science behind the activity.
