In this activity, learners play a traditional Mexican game of chance with a twist. Learners take turns spinning a special "Toma Todo" top. Depending on what the top says, learners take counters from the pot or put them back. The winning player is the person with the most counters when all of the counters are gone from the middle. Use this game to help learners explore probability and chance. This activity guide contains sample questions to ask, literary connections, extensions, and alignment to local and national standards.
