In this online game, learners test their skills of categorization. Sixteen different organisms are given (human, monkey, jellyfish, etc.) and one category (e.g., things that eat fish, birds, things that lay eggs). Learners choose the organisms that fit the category and earn points when they choose correctly, but lose points if they choose something not in the category or miss something in the category. This fun and easy game is useful as introduction or review of the diversity of life. When learners set up a free account at Kinetic City, they can answer bonus questions at the end of the activity as a quick assessment. As a larger assessment, learners can complete the Smart Attack game after they've completed several activities.
