Hot Stuff!: Investigation #2

Learners test two jars containing hot water, one covered with plastic and one open, for changes in temperature. After placing the jars in the sun, learners discover that the covered jar takes longer to cool. This investigation is part of a set of demonstrations and activities that can be used together for a larger lesson. Resource contains vocabulary definitions and suggestions for assessment, extensions, and scaling for different levels of learners.
